I rather expected this, actually...
Aug. 3rd, 2003 04:20 pmmy father has been running Win2k for a couple of years now, because "it's so much more secure." problem is, he's been running it as an administrator for a couple of years now. so now he's got a virus in his winnt folder, and his much vaunted Panda Antivirus can't clean it. but does he look for another solution, like TrendMicro's HouseCall or Norton AntiVirus' Emergency Disks?
nope! the only aceptable solution is to format his drive and start over; it's his solution to every computer problem under the sun, so you can imagine he does it a lot. and he wonders why I scoff at his problem-free computer: because he never tries to fix the problem!
oh, and I really need to stop falling asleep with my hair still tied back. it's a bitch to get the tangles out when I wake up.
