Mar. 19th, 2004 06:16 amI'm cold, and I'm sick, and my right ass cheek is sore. but my computer is fast and stable and lovable. I was going to play Phantasy Star IV, but I forgot about that whole thing with DOS programs and Windows XP. and I loathe GENS.
my hands are swollen. I've lost track of the days. my routine is fragmenting. I need to stop and get my ass in bed before I do something more regrettable than usual.

Windows XP problems

And I do like XP; I just dislike GENS. Actually, I dislike most Windows console emulators, especially the ones that force or require a color depth/resolution change. I've just been forced to switch, gradually, because nobody seems to be developing non-Windows or non-SDL X emulators for x86 anymore. Well, except for ZSNES, but that doesn't work either.
Hell, if I felt like it, I have a computer all but ready to use. All I'm missing is a keyboard and about 70 feet of CAT5. But I'm a lazy shit. And cheap. ^_^ I could probably do it with 10 feet, but then I'd have to run it through my main computer, and that could get ugly.
