hyurithe evil empire is stealing my soul. after discovering that eAcceleration deleted both of my accounts, as well as my cousin's (one of mine was created in December '99!), and with Ragnarok going P2P, I started looking for a new game to take up my time. and since I've been eyeballing EverQuest-like games for a couple of years now, and it had a 15-day free trial (with a huge-ass download: it's currently taking up a whopping 925,497,478 bytes on my G drive), I decided to try out Asheron's Call 2.
that was 3 days ago.
I haven't even talked to my cousin online since then, which is pretty bad of me since he's looking at jail time for child abuse even though he didn't abuse his daughter, just 'cause he's a dumbass and the cops did not follow proper legal procedures when they coerced him into writing and signing a confession without either arresting him or giving him the opportunity to speak to a lawyer...
aaaaanyways, I'm a bit upset about that (and I really don't feel like putting it all down 'cause that would be a few pages on its own), but I'm still so enthralled by this game even though it really isn't all that great compared to some others I've played that I can't seem to be bothered to talk to the poor guy. even if he is being a dick with this whole "pity me, I'm going to jail!" shtick.
