hyuriI recently had what appeared to be the catastrophic failure of a hard disk just over a year old. thankfully it wasn't -- turned out to be a failed SATA cable (seriously?) and my BIOS continuing to be weird -- but it ate a large portion of my WoW addon configs.
after recovering what I could, and rebuilding the rest, my average framerate has increased by about 20%. the hell? I can't even see how any of the addons that I completely lost the config for could do that, or even all of them!
