hyuriso apparently my car needs a new computer. which, okay, at least BMW made them easy to access (easier than the battery, to be honest) but still. a computer?
why couldn't it have been the crank position sensor?
also, reassembling a GPU fan's ball bearings is a pain. took me over 3 hours and I still managed to lose 2 of the balls. but now it's running around 40°C under full load, where it used to idle around 60°C and reach over 110°C under load. go figure.
