it puzzles me that people get so paranoid about zomg raw meat old milk warmed-over mayonnaise! yet I've eaten raw pork and chicken and sandwiches that have sat out for 30+ hours without issue. I should probably make some sort of effort to train myself out of the fact that I like the taste of uncooked white meats, but meh.

on the other hand, sometimes milk gets me even the same day we buy it. go figure.

There's nothing at all wrong with eating uncooked mass-produced chicken, so long as you don't mind salmonella or E. coli contamination. I know what conditions are like in the packing houses, and it's not pretty.

Well, yes, but I do mind. The oddity is that I don't seem to have ever encountered them. Either that or my immune system is incredibly awesome versus little buggers like that. I think the former is more likely, but either way....
