why is it that my father taints everything he touches? earlier today I had a feeling of accomplishment; I was learning new things and I was doing good things with my new knowledge--and then he says the same thing to me, and I feel almost ashamed of it. I feel like it's wrong, like it's insignificant.

I don't like my father.
