rebuilding an automatic transmission isn't really that hard: I can definitely see how some people are able to do one in under an hour. it is, however, quite messy. and not having the proper tools (I used C‐clamps in place of a press, to remove the spring packs) makes things much more difficult.

now if only I'd remembered to replace the rear case bushing before I put the case together....
