yesterday sucked
Sep. 1st, 2007 04:20 amI have had few experiences more nerve‐wracking than running into a blindingly heavy rainstorm on a fairly heavily‐travelled, single‐lane highway, and having my driver’s side wiper fly off. seriously, I just about shit myself. and then I had to drive almost 20 miles to get a new one, because the first parts store I found didn’t have the right size. fuck you, Autozone.
also, the hatch louvers may help a lot with the sun? but they fuck me up when it rains. seeing as how they’re bent enough to keep the rear wiper from moving at all.
and a low sports car just really isn’t a good idea to drive on roads that flood out. when the drivetrain is in the water every. single. time. you hit a puddle, you’re in the wrong car. and when opposing traffic passes in the said puddles, you find out very quickly where your weatherstripping needs fixing (everywhere).
