Aug. 11th, 2007 04:57 amfinally tore down the Toyota's old trans and discovered that it was indeed the pump. unfortunately, that means I also need a new torque converter. on the up side, it means I might wind up with 2 working Corollas.
also, I found a 280ZX turbo at Pick & Pull yesterday while looking for a Chevy‐pattern Turbo 400. it had been converted to NA at some point, but it still has the CV axles! I’m gonna grab the fuel and oil pumps and ECU, and find some seats that look good and comfortable to really take advantage of their wheelbarrow deal.
