y’know, they go and they warn you about solvents, lumping them all together under the heading caustic chemicals. then you stick your hand in the cold tank and realize that that shit is about as caustic as freakin’ motor oil. so you stop worrying about solvent.

then you pick a part out of the hot tank and pour some all over your hand. twelve hours later, you’re still realizing just how different part‐cleaning chemicals can be.

mind you, this was the aluminum hot tank. the mild one. o_O
