seriously. stop pronouncing Caerphilly that way. I don’t care what the dictionaries say that were written by people who’ve never heard a native pronounce the word, it’s wrong.

Well, y’know, how do you pronounce caer? Most people seem to pronounce it roughly like the word care, whatever their accent.

And whaddayaknow, there it is! Right there in the first syllable of Caerphilly.
