hyurisummamabitch!
okay, unsurprisingly, Circuit City triedto rip me off on stereo installation: I got quoted $40 worth of parts (on top of the stereo), but I did it myself with a $7 wiring kit from WalMart. and I only got that because I’m lazy and didn’t want to strip and re‑wire the existing plug.
so, muh cah has a new CD player in it, works well, cost me $60.97 and an hour or so of actual work. I am happy. ^__^
