I think my monitor’s really dying this time. great timing.

and I got a class in 3 1/2 hours. and I haven’t slept. this is looking like a fiiiiiiiiine day so far.

How old is your monitor?
The reason I'm asking is that monitors should have a default warrantee of 3 years.

My screen died a few weeks ago (after 2.5 years) and was probltly replaced by Iijama for a new model.

It’s a GDM-17E11, SGI‑rebranded Sony, and I think it’s about eight years old. Thankfully, it seems the problem was exaggerated by the cold (my mom turned the heater off -_-), since it’s back to it’s normal unhealthy‑but‑functional self now.

Glad to hear you'r monitor is feeling better.
Though when cold starts to have an effect like that, this probably means some of the contacts are eroding or one of the prints is cracked. :/
