May. 30th, 2003 03:14 ammy mom took me out today (well, yesterday) to get my hair conditioned and trimmed, and that was yummy-fun even though I had to sit back at the sink for longer than I should have and my neck had this numb band across the back and sides. no more frizzies or split ends (not that I had many of those anyway, but...)
my cousin's ex-/sorta-/sometime girlfriend is here for a month with their daughter, and of course my mom wants to get a family picture while she's here. I suppose I can't bitch to much considering that we've only done that like once, but still.
I have to get my picture taken!
on the upside, I got a new shirt and a pair of pants I like out of it, and my mom said she'd get me something I liked at Hot Topic, but the only thing I liked was this shirt, and they only had it in small. now, I'm not very big, but I'm bigger than that!
so I decided to look for a bag; shouldn't be too hard, right? but ThinkGeek is still out of the MegaTokyo Flapdoozy, like they have been since they started carrying them it seems like. so I looked around and found this one. it's smaller, but that's all to the good for me; the medium sounds a little oversized for my needs: couple books, notepad, pens, Game Boy, my games, extra batteries, hairbrush, toothbrush and -paste, CD player and some CDs, pocket knife, keys, spare change, drink insulator-thingy when I don't have a bottle in it, calculator, some hair bands...
ah, come to think of it, the large bag doesn't sound too bad at this point...
