You tell me if that's worth playing. I don't trust all these people that normally play crappy games constantly telling me how awesome WoW actually is.

I don’t know that my opinion is a good one to follow. I liked FFXI, but I just couldn’t stand to play it because it was so boring. ;-;

But I’ll let y’all know what I think of the game, of course. ^_^

Bah... it's only boring if you don't dig into it far enough to get to a decent level and interact with loads of ppl XD

Tho... I guess it's the boring part that's hard to get past in the first place. ^^;;

Dang. All the servers I played FFXI on only had Japanese people to interact with. Them or some snertish high level guild that would sooner drag shit on to you than play with you.

Probably why I didn't see the point of levelling up 15 other classes.

One of my favorite parts on WoW so far is the fact that the quests are simple and very quick to complete. Longer quests are just a set of shorter quests for which you get rewards, rather than a single massive quest that takes three days to complete and only gets you a pathetic reward that doesn’t even come close to the effort you put into it...

Hmm. Guess maybe I dislike FFXI’s quests, huh?

But WoW seems like fun at first blush. I think I might actually like it enough to pass level 20 this month, but we’ll see.

Yeah, once you hit about 19 or 20, the fun begins. You can start doing pretty much anything you want, you get your sub-job (making life MUCH easier), the important shit becomes noticably easier (crafting and such), and ppl pretty much consider you non-n00b at that point.
After 20 or so, the only real problem is the fucked up economy, but that's something most ppl find they can deal with. ^^;;
If you still have your account, keep it up. You don't have much farther to go. When you hit 20, give it a week. Getting a party in Qufim is a different experience (and sometimes a bit difficult, depending on your job; if you're WHM, you're golden; if you're MNK, you're boned, etc.), but the ppl are much nicer, and that's one of the main drawing points for most, at that point. If ya still don't like it, let it go. ^^

Burn it. When the fire dies, start another one and burn it again. /nod
