oh yeah, and somehow or other we got my (paternal) grandmother's old car back. something about the guy she sold it to getting busted for driving a stolen vehicle 'cause he never re-registered it in his name or some shit like that. his loss.

and hopefully my gain: she's actually springing to get it registered and insured and everything, so I may actually have a legal vehicle to take my driving test in. yay!
