I finally managed to convince my dad that I actually have a point regarding the sad state of the anti–homosexual‑marriage crowd. (that sad state being that they’re winning.) after almost an hour of repeating the same thing—phrased differently each time—he finally acknowledged that they aren’t just anti‑marriage, they’re anti–anything‑that‑even‑resembles‑marriage (in a non‑heterosexual context). of course, he’ll probably have forgotten all of this by tomorrow. -_-

but what do I expect? he is, after all, one of the ultra‑arch‑conservatives whom Shrubya is pandering to. >_<
