hyuriI just watched Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within (yeah, yeah, I know. STFU) and y'know, it's just not a very uplifting movie.
I mean there's hope there and all, but it's still pretty damned bleak. seems like the message is that while you may lose things important to you, but there's still hope for everyone else.
then again, maybe I'm just being overly morbid--big surprise there.
as a side note: I bought Winter's Heart (Wheel of Time book 9 [last copy! go me!]) yesterday and I'm only 607 pages into it. I gotta stop screwing around and read.
