Oct. 22nd, 2004 02:33 pmI think part of my current problem with LJ.NET is that I forgot that VB passed arguments by reference by default. time for a stricter comparison, it seems. but I’ve tweaked a few things in other areas, and they seem to work properly. still trying to figure out the best way to disable the Login button unless the username and password fields are both filled out.

Date: 2004-10-22 09:42 pm (UTC)step 1: create a vb sub that checks the length of the content of the two fields. If both are > 0, enable login button, else disable login button (even if it is already disabled, just re-set it).
step 2: make an onchanged event for the two fields, referencing the sub you created above.
lather, rinse, repeat.
