day, so far

hyurigot to the airport, waited at the counter for an hour because the folks that work the counter took off to handle boarding 15 minutes early; so we had to wait for them to get back so Jill could find out how the hell she was getting home.
apparently, the only way she can get home and not have to pay out the ass for a soon ticket is to be at LAX tonight at 2030. well, the flight’s scheduled to leave at 2230, but, LAX, ’security’...
then we get home and I find out that “the internet was slow,” (no shit, I was downloading. like usual?) and my dad decided that the appropriate solution to this was to unplug both the modem and router. and if he’d only waited an hour or so, all of my downloads would have been done. grar. -_-
and the podling spent the whole time pushing on the back of my seat. I’m just glad her legs aren’t long enough to reach through the gap under the headrest...
I was going to take a nap before we left, but we just got home a few minutes ago and we need to leave in about 40 minutes. so I’m loading up on caffeine, sugar, and caffeine‑similar substances.
