(no subject)

my mother got a kitten yesterday; she named him Mickey. he likes me, which pisses Yuri off to no end. my father is apparently surprised by this—why, I have no idea, since it seems like every cat likes me, and Yuri just doesn’t like other cats.

I know Yuri. I know how to handle her when she’s pissed off, and I know what pisses her off. my father continually does those things, and is always surprised (and generally angry) when she responds by slashing his hand.

if I know when to move to avoid losing an eye when you can’t even tell that she’s upset, y’think maybe I know this cat better than you do? I know it’s a long shot, but it’s at least possible, isn’t it? o_ô
