hyuriI got Bomberman 64 this afternoon, ran home, plugged it in—and it didn’t work. I plugged in Blast Corps: didn’t work. played with ’em a bit—blow the dust out, jiggle them around; you know the drill—still nothing. tried the RF adapter instead of the A/V cable: still nothing.
tried some of our old (relatively) games. Super Mario 64 worked; Turok 2 worked; Zelda: The Ocarina of Time worked; Banjo Kazooie worked; F‑Zero X worked; Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire worked. “okay,” I figure, “maybe it’s fixed itself.”
no such luck; neither game worked.
so I ran like a bat out of hell to get back to the store before they closed, so I could exchange the games (interestingly enough, they had two of each). then I zipped home (this all at an average speed of slightly over 60 MPH) and tried the games.
Blast Corps didn’t work. Bomberman 64 didn’t work. the other games still worked.
if I can’t get them to work by tomorrow, I’m returning them and possibly my new speakers, and buying a year of paid LJ or something. maybe a PSOne on eBay.
also got my hair conditioned this morning. feels all soft and shit now. I’ve been treating it like hell because of all the aggravation about the games, though. >_< I did get my mom to consider letting me get my hair dyed—quite an accomplishment, since she insists that I need to have it done professionally, and they want like $40+, plus whatever two boxes of dye costs.
