hyuriah, yes. and in the perfect cap to the day, I just found Yuri playing with a smallish (1.5–2", perhaps 3" with its tail fully stretched out) scorpion. inside the house. crawling fairly swiftly toward my boots.
I dislike this. so far there hasn’t been anything larger than spiders in the house, and nothing more dangerous than black widows (which tend to hide in places we don’t often go, anyway).
