the modified version of LJ.NET (ljnetdev) which I’ve been working on can be downloaded here. (source; requires Visual Studio .NET 2003 and Office 2003 to build correctly.)

I will take a look at it later tonight... were you able to change the way it gets the data from LJ to the XML-RPC or is it still doing it old-style? *shudders*
Still using the flat interface. Yeah, XML&8209;RPC is technically superior, but flat works for now. And has the great advantage of not requiring a sizable re‑write of any communications with the server.
