okay, so now the queued posting option is active in the Options form (and functional!) and I got the little popup alerts (when you post) back when queueing is disabled.

issue: I have no idea how to create a useful patch with VS projects. somehow I get the feeling that diff isn't the proper tool. and I need to figure out what I changed where, so I can create discrete patches for each addition.
