Jun. 11th, 2004 04:06 amokay, so I logged off like 5 minutes after Charles did (you logged, I ran to housing, logged), and I'm still fighting the temptation to go back in and try for level 9. and that's the only reason I'm still up. since I bought the game on Tuesday, I've logged more than 21 hours of actual play time. this isn't counting looking up FAQs, tracking down a World Pass, getting it all set up (which was a bitch and a half), and all the other little bullshit things outside the game.
damn, but FFXI is addictive.

...man, it's only a matter of time before YOU'RE the one tanking for ME. O.o;; I mean, hell, you were holding your own like a soldier, last night, despite being lower level than I am. Hell, you were even missing strikes less often. (I really need to do something about that... >.> )

Date: 2004-06-11 07:52 pm (UTC)Hell, I was probably "missing less often" because I get two attacks per, er, round? Most of the time I miss one of those, but that still leaves me with a hit. You were still doing most of the damage, though.
Re: Dial-up sucks
Date: 2004-06-11 09:02 pm (UTC)Any suggestions?
As for the obsession, don't get me started. Evercrack never did it for me (which is why it's so bizarre, to me, that FFXI does), but I could tell you stories about RO... ¬.¬
