(no subject)

I live out in the boonies, or as close as you get in southern California, and currently connect to the internet via cell (Verizon says no new DSL lines are available and we're literally on the edge of Charter's television service area). everything out here is still 2.5G GPRS.

lately I've been intermittently, but with growing frequency, finding my phone connected to an HSPA cell. I'm not sure if it's HSPA or HSPA+, but apparently T-Mobile is just leapfrogging straight from 2.5G to their 4G out here.

and I like that.
