Feb. 8th, 2007 12:12 amI am posting from my computer once more. unfortunately, this is by way of a Gentoo LiveCD, but at least it’s a step in the right direction!
currently I’m having great difficulties with the Windows installer—those being that it Just Doesn’t Work. at least it stopped giving me BSODs when I fixed the RAM timing. now it’s just giving me something about a bad parameter or something? and nobody has any help, of course. I’m so very tempted to try talking my grandmother into throwing in a copy of Vista along with my textbooks....
I gotta say that Gentoo seems to have come a long way since the last time I used it. if I had another hard drive I might almost be tempted to use it for Linux instead of more deep storage. almost.
