for some reason I find this image (link via this site, specifically this page) quite... well, awesome is not off, but the word seems to have picked up a sort of irreverance somewhere along its lifetime. cool works too.
I've been reading Heinlein's Expanded Universe, which I strangely managed to avoid doing in the nearly two years since I bought it, secondhand, on a visit to friends in Fallbrook. it's pretty cool though: gives me something new to read that's actually, well -- I can take it to the bathroom with me! ^_^ I think the reason I like Heinlein is that his writing was so brutally honest. you got his point because he bludgeoned you with it -- but in such a way that you went along willingly, even eagerly.
I've also been putting off reading the post I have pulled up that's my first hurdle in clearing out the last unread board on GP. dunno why. I mean, I can do anything else just fine, but as soon as I look at the post my eyes stop focussing. beh. I'll get to it after I sleep.
