and my computer decided to eat itself last time it froze, which doesn't really surprise me since I was running Diskeeper at the time. kinda annoying, though, since it's taken almost 5 hours of work just to get it semi-functional again—my fonts are screwed up, and some system files appear to still be corrupted.
