for some inexplicable reason, my CD-RW doesn't like audio CDs. it just refuses to read them, just keeps spinning around and around and trying and then failing to read. we're talking while(true)-type repetition, here.

is it so much to ask that I be allowed to listen to some Goo Goo Dolls? hell, let's try Korn; maybe it'll like them...

Christina's burner has been doing that for awhile, now. We can't figure it out for the life of us.
If you get a reason sorted out, lemmie know; I'm curious what the problem is.

I have the same problem, only with CDRWs. How's that for irony?

It's getting to the point that I'm tempted to burn a couple of CDs to clear some space (and use up the last jewel cases I have floating around) and drop my DVD-ROM back in. And that sucker was getting pretty flaky too, before I traded it in for the burner.

*blinks* o.O

Maybe it's something else in my computer...
