...damn vcron and its shitty parsing. -_- I finally had to rip the line out, dump it into a script, and have cron run that.

but it works now. and so does bookmark editing in Mozilla. apparently something from an older version of the Tabbrowser extension was fucking up the current version. but it's all good, even if I have absolutely no idea what was wrong with it. ^^;
