That looks a bit more complex than I want, though. All I want is a little image or something that I can look at to see who's connected how on LJ. Thassit.

Noooo. I'm only going to do this with people I've friended, people who've friended me, and the connections between them. That's it. ^_^
I actually have most of it done; I just have to define labels for a few nodes and figure out how to get them to cascade readably. It's trying to display all the nodes on three lines, and one of those lines only has me on it! >_<
It's probably because everything pretty much cascades from my node (hey, the world revolves around me! at least, it does in this graph...). I'm probably going to end up using clusters to fix it, unattractive though they may be. >_<

Actually I've thinking of something like that myself.
Mind you, that before you know it it will walk away and and start mapping all of LJ, as all of us are interconnected in some way.
However I have the priority of using it to document my current project at work.
