hyuridammit. emerging a masked version of Gaim kinda broke emerge sync && emerge world, since it always tries to install the latest unmasked version if the installed version doesn't match. which is fucked.
and it's not letting me emerge gaim-smileys because one of the files it grabbed is corrupt. why does this not surprise me? okay, it was barfing because wget was fucking up the download. downloaded it myself it Worked Just Fine.
and all because I decided to make sure I was up to date before I emerged MLdonkey. kinda makes me wonder what would happen if I tried to emerge KDE or GNOME again...
