oh yeah, the GIMP is definitely missing some things. like a user-friendly file browser. maybe something with thumbnail previews of every image in a directory, just like every other graphics editor seems to have?

sure, the GTK+ dialog is usable. it's better than some others I've seen. but come on, that for a graphics program?

Well, yeah. I've been awake for around 24 hours, I've had all this nervous energy running around for the last few days, and it just makes me twitchy, which pisses me off, which makes me find fault with everything and take risks that I shouldn't and, just... I dunno? 'Cause I want to go outside and run around in the darkness and beat on things, but I haven't been able to make myself do that, so I turn it in on myself and I don't even notice because it's totally unconscious at this point until something calls my attention to it.

So... yeah. I'm gonna put some tougher shoes on and go howl at the moon or something.
