hyuriyay! my phone finally shipped!
apparently there was some kind of glitch in their system which... kinda ghost-canceled a bunch of orders? or that's the excuse I got, anyway. something about orders getting canceled without letting the rest of the system know about it.
so they gave me free overnight shipping. works for me!
