hyurimy day started out not-too-badly: woke up at 11-ish, hearing my brother answer the phone, learning that my grandparents were on their way home. got up, turned on my computer, and no sooner had I logged in - I'd been awake for perhaps ten minutes at this point - than the phone rings again. this time it's my parents: they have a flat tire, and they've been driving on the (full-sized, at least!) spare due to a previous flat.
long story short, I've been driving pretty much constantly from then until about 5 minutes ago. it's been a long day. traffic was surprisingly good for post-holiday, barring the cop driving at a speed obviously beyond his capabilities and the sedan that was doing at least 130.
