well... hell. I need to go make money again. $141 for registration/title fees, $40 to smog it ... and a set of tires. one’s flat, and the rest have a lot of deep shoulder cracking.

so much for the sub‐$1000 car.

All used cars cost $2000. If the purchase price is less than $2000, then the difference will be made up in repairs in the first year.

Of course, this is the point where everyone pipes up and to post anecdotal contradictions to the rule. . .
