okay, a little background: my mouse (Logitech MX700) has been slowly losing buttons. they start working strangely and erratically (multiple
anyway, I was thinking about how I got my new starter working (sanding the corrosion off the solenoid contacts) and decided to take my mouse apart and look at the button switches more closely. turns out that all the metal in there was copper—corroded copper. so a few minutes with a screwdriver and a nail file, and my mouse works like new.
still looks like shit though.
