hyurisomeone needs to tell these people that “roasted garlic” tends to taste a little better if there’s actually heat involved somewhere. otherwise, not bad.
also, Gallo’s Cafe Zinfandel? pretty good: nice and light, even though it’s a red.
I’m a little worried now. I mean, I just put in a new tranny about 1500 miles ago, and now my engine is ticking. loudly. it’s been idling kind of rough since I put it back together, and I’m kinda wondering if it was actually the timing that was off. especially since a valve job would run me in the vicinity of $200 just in parts and that kind of problem, put off for too long, could wind up requiring a complete rebuild. although at that point it would be cheaper to just buy a JDM import like the transaxle. I must admit to a bit of amusement at the thought of coupling a late‐production 4A-GE to a 3‐speed auto.
and my damned engine class wants me to produce a couple of hundred bucks worth of tools or get knocked 10–20% of my grade. I really appreciate not getting any mention of this until about a week into the class, after we’ve started marking our books.
