my day, disjointed. sort of.
Mar. 13th, 2005 02:42 amnever, ever play DDR in dress boots again. ouch.
also: Erin and Meghan are tiny, and Travis is huge! I remember when Travis was this annoying little brat, and the girls were, um ... somewhat larger than me. o_o seriously freaksome, people.
and why the hell did the groom look older than the bride’s father, who is older by some twenty years? d00d!
and apparently I look older than I am, since the chick with the champagne just filled my glass without a second look. heh. damned alcohol sick‑making‑ness. so my dad wound up with two glasses. fwhatever.
and my mom pointed out that with my clothes and the headset for my cell phone, I looked rather like certain elements of the casino staff. ^_^;; (not those elements!)
and I would just like to record my opinion that, if the groomsmen are wearing tuxedos and the bridesmaids are wearing matching dresses, and the whole wedding party is doing the “classic wedding” shtick, wearing a mini‑dress is just really inappropriate. particularly a semi‑sheer one that’s not quite painted on. not cool, chica.
in other news, we found a cat outside the den window before we left Saturday morning. all evidence indicates that the cat is on the brink of starvation. and he stopped trying to eat anything, and won’t even swallow water that’s droppered into his mouth. feckin’ quitter.
