you know though, it is unfortunate that there are some companies that are running old cobol systems for some reason or another, and this might actually help them transition those systems into a more modern age, and then from there they might even be able to move to a different language. There should not be anything wrong with seeing something like Cobol.NET or Fortran.NET, but there should be something wrong with seeing companies running original Cobol or Fortran code and NOT taking the time to investigate updating to a more modern language, considering those languages are much slower than the ones out today.
