I had a post typed up about how I’m feeling right now, but I decided I sounded too much like a whiny bitch and deleted it. I’m a lot more critical of myself than I am of the rest of you, so don’t think that I think that any of you are whiny bitches. ’cause I don’t. and I’m typing like I’ve been drinking, which I haven’t, so I think I should be dragging my fool ass off to bed before I hurt somebody. like myself. or worse, one of the cats.

You know... I know you take care of your own food most of the time with that sleeping schedule of yours, are you sure your diet is balanced/nutricional enough?

Oh, I’m quite sure that it isn’t. I only eat about a meal a day (dinner), but I don’t really have the appetite for more. I’ve tried, and it just makes me sick if I can actually force myself to eat anything.

Well, there's one thing you're going to learn in the military.

Trust me while they are working on your condition, you're going to have to eat 3 solid meals a day.

I used to eat only once a day, with an occasional snack on some days. But in the first month of basic training my eating habits changed to:
Breakfast: 8 double sandwiches (that's 16 slices of bread) with butter, cheese and apple-syrup, and about a liter worth of normal (full) milk.
Lunch: Same, with an additional 4 double sandwiches of Ham.
Dinner: 2 rounds going round the kitchen filling up the entire plate. and 3-5 desserts, depending on how many were left.

In the evening I sometimes would leave base to go and get some hamburgers and fries because I was peckish.

During this month I lost 27 Kg(*) (= 59.5248108 pounds) of weight, while I gained some serious muscle, which is heavier than fat.

This also works the other way round. You cannot start building up your body until you have a steady several-times-a-day intake of food.

I went from 116Kg to 89Kg
at the end of the month I did 5km (3.106856 mile) in 12m28s. A personal record I never broke, nor equaled since.
