I decided not to get a cable. (Best Buy only had rounded ones, and they wanted $22 for one.) instead, I just ordered a new CD‑RW. if it doesn’t work, I’ll get a cable—and be very, very broke. again.

my dad keeps pushing me to apply at Domino’s as a driver. I’m starting to think that isn’t a bad idea. I got a license, the car’s insured, I don’t have to deal with customers for very long, it gives me more income than I have, I get to drive a lot...

being a delivery driver is the absolute best job if you want to drive around, not have to deal with people, and don't mind getting stiffed on a tip every once in a while. just make sure you get an evening shift, on any day that you work. i speak from experience.

btw, don't forget that a fair amount of your tips will go to gas. lol

This car nade it to LA and back on a single tank (ten bucks); I don’t think gas is a big problem.
