and again, my mother proves that she has no concept of the meaning of trust. it seems that I have once more been proven correct about sharing my secrets with her.

and she still doesn’t have even the slightest conception of the damage this does.

I have to say that it's one of the most annoying things about the "older" generation. My parents, your parents, probably the parents of most of our generation. Too much old world crap, expecting some sort of child-parent relationship of the unrealistically ecstatic post-WW2 deal. I find the people in that generation you can trust the most are the aunts and uncles. They never spill shit back to your parents or anyone else.

And of course, you always have all of us. Strange, slightly anonymous internet people that stalk your journal.
