drove my grandparents S10 home so we have another vehicle to carry bodies (and cargo) to the reunion dealy‑thingy on Saturday. it’s very comfortable, and has a great stereo, but it has Issues. actually, it has an Issue: it leaks transmission fluid like a bloody faucet.

twenty minute drive, it lost well over a gallon of the stuff (we put in 3 quarts along the way). from the location, my dad says it’s a bad seal. the replacement of which will require the removal of the bloody transmission.

on a completely random note: I wonder how those self‑checkout things handle alcohol. and I’m craving a chicken quesadilla from Taco Hell (or three, or four...).

I feel like absolute hell. my left knee hurts, a sharp pain radiating up to mid‑thigh; my lower back hurts, a dull but strong ache; my left arm hurts for some damn reason; my neck has that siff “I’m going to hurt later!” feeling; and I have a mild headache. oh, and I’m getting twinges in my right thigh.

with the self checkout things here whenever somebody is buying alcohol a little light up top starts flashing and somebody has to come over and check id.
