hyuriwriting a (very limited, very primitive) pseudo–XML‑RPC library from scratch. also, implementing the client side of the LJ challenge/response authentication method. (getting a challenge is easy. generating the response is easy. setting up the timer is, ah... somewhat puzzling.)
