What I'd really like to do, I think, is get a commercial certificate. Possibly even an airline transport, but... I dunno. Just seems like it'd be an interesting job and not so crappy as, say, long-haul trucking or retail.
And this reminds me of an old NES game: Pipe Dream. I should go find a ROM of that...
I hated that game. It made smoke roll out of my ears. >.<
I dunno... standard commercial airline transport has its pros and cons... The travel opportunities would be awesome, but in the end, it's just driving a bus or a trailer... only... in the air. Ugh. Besides that, I'm really limited as to what I'd be legally allowed to do in the air, anyway, which sucks. *taps eyeglasses*
Due to circumstances while growing up I have over 6000 hours of professional simulator hours, but never took even a single lesson.
Mind you, flying lessons are ridiculously expensive over here, never mind the fact that you need to fly a certain amount of hours each year to remain certified.
I do have a parachute license though... If you think flying is fun, try stepping out of an airplane while several thousands of feet up in the air.
