during the summer, we open the door into the garage at night to get (free) cool air into the house. however, every summer wasps move into our garage. we've tried numerous ways of handling this situation, but I think I'm engaged in the oddest.

I'm catching the wasps in my hand as they enter the house, pissed off by the death pheromones of their predecessors, and killing them with a lighter (faster and more sure than trying to crush them, and they can't fly away if they manage to survive the first application).

there's also a mosquito in here somewhere.
